2WR was challenged by Clayton State University to develop innovative and creative solutions for the Renovations to the N&BS Facility. Extremely low floor-to-bottom of structure height provided the opportunity for innovative and creative thinking. The solution developed provided for bulkheads along classroom perimeters to accommodate new HVAC ducts while the main area of the classroom utilized a combination of exposed structure with pendent mounted fixtures and raised tray acoustical ceiling systems. Corridor improvements were also a significant part of the scope of work. Vibrant colors and patterns were also utilized throughout the facility to create a much more inspiring environment.
