Troup County Parks and Recreation SPLOST Projects

LaGrange and West Point, Georgia

As part of the Troup County Parks and Recreation SPLOST program 2WR developed the:

  • George Harris Baseball Complex
  • West Point City Park
  • Troup County Tennis Complex Addition and Upgrades

George Harris Baseball Complex contains eight (8) fields, walking trails, concession buildings, tot-lots, and a First Tee golf program.  The complex was one of the sites of the 2003 Dixie Youth World Series.

West Point City Park contains six (6) baseball fields, tennis courts, football and soccer fields, concession buildings, and tot-lots.

The Scope of Work at the Tennis Complex included renovation of six (6) clay courts along with six (6) new clay courts, new pro-shop, observation area, fencing, lighting, restrooms, concessions, and maintenance area.
